So, my other obsession besides music is studying ready-to-wear collections and couture each season, rifling through fashion magazines, reading Tumblr posts and whatever else I find from DIY artists and fashion punks all over the world, and taking inspiration from my most sartorially skilled buddies. I hang out in my wardrobe room (yes, I am THAT vain! my man has his own though so it’s equally unacceptable) creating complete looks, taking stuff off and putting it back on, drawing designs on my face and painting watercolors on my lips….well, you get it. I’m a veritable fashion groupie.
….which is WHYYY I am beyond stoked to present the first installment of my very own personal style blog. I hooked up with Al at Adalbertoso Photography, who shot this first look of mine, and created “Winter White” just for you. Who says you can’t rock some hotness while 80 gazillion feet of snow and ice cover your entire neighborhood?! Walk, hunty!!

Coat, H&M. Bodysuit and knee-highs, American Apparel. Shorts, Tripp NYC. Shoes, Karmaloop.
Glasses, vintage from Brick Lane market in London. Ombre triangle earring, Topshop.
My trusty trifecta of necklaces, which will be appearing often here, are by Anthropologie (hammered discs), Fetty (the axe gifted to me by my friend Justin Tranter of the band Semi Precious Weapons), and self-designed (the glass heart pendant on a chain.)
Similarly, the rings are an everyday staple — the gold one is from Patricia Field, the black patterned one is H&M, and the silver ring with the stone is from Gypsy Warrior.
